How Coffrio handles your data: what we process, the EU hosting and AI processors involved, how long we keep it and how to delete your account.

Who we are

Coffrio is a mobile app published by Zied Elloumi. Contact: contact@coffrioapp.com.

Data we process

  • Account: a technical identifier; your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and photo provided by that service.
  • Vault content: the documents, photos, links, notes, tags and collections you save, and the details extracted from your documents (type, issuer, amount, dates).
  • Shares: the share links you create, their duration, access code and views.
  • Usage: number of analyses this month, to apply free-plan limits.

We do not sell your data, and the content of your vault is never used for advertising.

Advertising

The free plan shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. In Europe and the United Kingdom a consent form appears on first launch; on iPhone the app also asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency).

Without your consent, ads stay non-personalized and your device’s advertising identifier is not used. With your consent, Google may use that identifier to select more relevant ads and measure how they perform. You can change your mind at any time in your phone’s settings.

Your documents, your links and what Coffrio extracts from them are never shared with an advertiser. The Premium plan removes ads.

AI processing

To read your documents (OCR), classify them, detect their deadlines, summarize saved links, transcribe voice search and understand image or natural-language search, the relevant content is sent encrypted to Mistral AI (a French company, processing in the European Union), acting as a processor. Mistral AI does not use this data to train its models. Images used for image search and voice recordings are not kept by Coffrio.

Your data is used only to provide the service: storing, organizing, searching and sharing your documents (performance of contract), and securing your account (legitimate interest).

Hosting and processors

  • Supabase: database, storage and authentication, hosted in the European Union (Ireland).
  • Mistral AI (France, EU): reading, classification and search (see above).
  • Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with these services.
  • Expo (EAS): delivery of app updates.

Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. It is permanently deleted when you delete your account.

Delete your account

In the app: Settings → Delete my account. All your data (account, documents, links, shares) is erased immediately and permanently. You can also request deletion by email at contact@coffrioapp.com.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict and object. Contact us at the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

Coffrio is not intended for children under 13.
