Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Coffrio app and of this website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.

Who we are

The service

Coffrio is a personal vault for your documents and useful links: scanning with automatic reading, classification, natural-language search, deadline reminders and time-limited sharing. It is a filing tool, not legal, tax or accounting advice, and it does not replace the originals of your documents: keep them.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to that account, and for what is stored in your vault. One account is personal to one person; do not share your credentials.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account. Everything is erased immediately and permanently, including your documents, links and shares.

Your content

Your documents, photos, links and notes remain yours. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: storing them, and having them read and classified by our processors, as described in the privacy policy.

You must not store or share content that is illegal, or that you have no right to hold. We may suspend an account used for such content.

Free plan and Premium subscription

The free plan gives a limited number of document analyses per month. Premium lifts those limits; the current benefits and prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Those stores handle payment, renewal, invoicing and refunds — we never see your payment details.

• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You cancel from your store account: App Store → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Prices may change; a change only applies to periods after you have been notified, under the rules of the store.
• Refund requests go to Apple or Google, who apply their own policy.

Consumers in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because access to Premium starts immediately, you accept that the service is performed at once and that this right lapses once it has been fully performed.

Availability

We do our best to keep the service running, without promising uninterrupted availability: maintenance, an incident at a provider or a network failure can interrupt it. Features may change as the app evolves.

Keep your own copies of important documents. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, nor for the loss of content of which you hold no other copy.

Ending the service

You may stop using Coffrio at any time by deleting your account. We may close an account that breaches these terms, after notice except in cases of serious or illegal use.

Changes

These terms may change. The date above tells you when they were last updated; significant changes are announced in the app or by email.

Applicable law

French law applies, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Before going to court, you may contact us to look for an amicable solution, or use the European online dispute resolution platform.
